9th Annual Poetry Slam!

Last night America SCORES Denver hosted the 9th Annual Poetry Slam at the Oriental Theatre. Students performed a variety of solo poems, choreographed group acts, and even some short stories, with the common thread being all the hard work put in during writing class to get them on that stage!

We would also like to thank the members of Buntport Theatre who helped host the event, leading the kids in warmup activities, announcing each school, and even performing an act from their show Trunks!
